Word from the Chairman –

Dear ISCPO Members,

I want to thank the ISCPO board for their appointment and trust in me as the new President/Chairman of the ISCPO. I am excited to work with all of you as we continue to build upon the success of this organization.

I wanted to take a moment to share our approach for the remaining months in 2020 and a few key initiatives going into 2021 and beyond.

The Website: We will begin some key upgrades to our website in an effort to make it easier to find the resources you need, engage in the activities you want to participate in, and enhance the appearance of the overall website experience. www.iscpo.org

2021 Conference: This year’s conference back in March was a great one and we want to continue to build on that success next year. However, as there is much uncertainty around travel, social distancing, and general unrest around the world, we will continue to monitor and assess the situation as we move forward and keep the membership updated.

International: As we move towards 2021, we are committed to expand our international footprint and are focused on having discussions with potential partners and key contacts in areas such as the APAC (Asia Pacific) and the EMEA (Europe/Middle East/Africa) and eventually in the areas of Latin America/Mexico.

Member Resources: There have been a tremendous amount of planning around the development and building out of a much broader and deeper membership resource library. Our goal is to provide members with as much value as possible as you navigate the ever changing domestic and international supply chain landscape.

Membership: The ISCPO’s membership in itself is a great resource and we plan to aggressively recruit new members from all industries and all countries to enhance the value of your networking. In addition, we will be creating additional committees to focus on driving value/change and moving the needle on industry initiatives meant to improve the supply chain around the world.

Marketing: In an effort to drive member engagement and membership recruitment, we are working on a multifaceted marketing plan to include a broader digital presence (i.e. social media) and a focused brand awareness strategy.

And much much more. As we travel this journey together, I welcome you to reach out to me, get involved in a committee, and help to recruit new members and companies to join and get involved. I cannot do this without you, and I look forward to meeting you all & hearing your ideas and suggestions for an even better ISCPO.

Sincerely,

Rhett Asher
